Location services are most accurate on devices with GPS, which includes smartphones and some tablets. For desktop computers the browser makes its best guess based on user information and IP address. However, depending on your computer this can vary in accuracy, often showing an approximate position within a few kilometres, or showing the location of your broadband provider. These pages utilise the GeoLocation API to establish the location.
Tanslations between differing scales and mapping formats may result in slight errors in accuracy. Other physical reference points may be required to comfirm the location being geocoded. The auto suggest for the input on what3words has been clipped to GB only.
The use of this Geocoder accepts all inherent limitations of the maps and data, including the fact that the maps and data are dynamic and in a constant state of maintenance, correction and revision.
